Angela Grey is a singer-songwriter and jazz vocalist based in Paris, France. Originally from New York, she has performed at some of the most reputable music venues in NYC such as The Bitter End, Club Groove, Clubroom at the Soho Grand Hotel and Birdland Jazz Club. Starting as a classical singer at an early age, she has since discovered and refined her naturally soulful tone — compared to the likes of Norah Jones, Eartha Kitt, and Dinah Washington.
Recently, Angela Grey had worked on recording projects with Gabe Valle and Tommy McCormick (The Beach Boys, DMX, The Wonder Years, CJ Ramone, and Foxing) as well as alongside Billboard-topping producer Joe Carrell and 3x Grammy winner Eduardo de la Paz. She is also a Sofar Sounds artist and has just completed a 8 show tour in the East Coast for her original music in September.
Angela is now based in Paris and performs with her trio and quartet at venues throughout the city. Known for her soulful renditions of the Great American Songbook, she adds a unique spin to her sets with her own arrangements of pop songs reimagined with a flourish of jazz and class.
