Séverine Casati Trio

Born in New York, French singer-songwriter Severine Casati grew up in France where she studied classical music and jazz. After living in Paris, then Mexico and Montreal, Severine settled in New York City in 2011 where she started to write and record as a solo artist, after years of playing with different bands.

Her first single “Not Obsessed” earned her endorsements with Sennheiser, Mac Cosmetics, Abercrombie & Fitch, Urban Outfitters and GAP. Huffington Post featured “Not Obsessed” as an Exclusive Music Premiere, calling it “shimmering pop rock”: “ Frankly, her voice gives me goosebumps…” Her album “Feel the Rain” released in 2018 reveals Severine’s hypnotic electro and dream pop vibe. The heartfelt 10 track-collection draws from a fascinating range of the well-traveled Severine’s influences including Sia, Cat Power and Dido. The album was penned by Severine, produced by Brooklyn-based Anthony Gallo (John Legend, Norah Jones, Cigarettes After Sex, Bon Jovi) and William Baker.

In the hectic times of the pandemic in 2020, Severine moved back to Paris where she continues to write. She released "L'Envie d'encore" ("Craving for more"), her first French song in September 2023.
